Smartphone and Tablet Deals

Galaxy Z Fold5

The Z Fold5 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is an excellent folding phone. It packs super-bright displays, cameras that take great photos, and extensive software support. If you’re looking for more storage, the 512-GB version is also on sale for $1,620 ($300 off). This is also the lowest price we’ve tracked for both models.

The Z Flip5 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of our favorite unconventional tiny phones (alongside Motorola’s Razr+). It’s a big-screen phone that “feels more like a stack of Post-Its in your pocket when it’s all folded up,” according to WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu. And with the new 3.4-inch Cover Screen, you can scroll through widgets and browse some apps too. The 512-GB version is on sale as well for $920 ($200 off). It’s also at the lowest price we’ve tracked.

Galaxy S23

The Galaxy S23 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is our favorite flagship phone in our Best Android Phones guide. It has a bright 120-Hz AMOLED screen, plenty of power, a great triple-camera system, and good battery life. The smaller version is also on sale for the same price. If you use Samsung’s trade-in program—the company accepts phones, tablets, and smartwatches from different brands—you can get up to $615 in trade-in credit to put toward the smartphone.

We consider the Galaxy Tab S9 series the best Android tablets on the market right now. But they’re expensive, so we suggest waiting until they’re on sale—like right now. The Tab S9 is the smallest of the lineup with an 11-inch display (120-Hz AMOLED) and 8 GB of RAM. Like the S9+ and S9 Ultra, it also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and an IP68-rated S Pen stylus. It’s dipped to this price before, but we still consider this a solid deal.

We recommend the S9+ for those who plan on using the tablet for both work and play. It packs a large 12.4-inch AMOLED screen (with a 120-Hz refresh rate) and 12 GB of RAM. It does come with support for 5G connectivity, but the sale only applies to the Wi-Fi model.

The S9 Ultra has the largest display of all three S9 tablets at 14.6 inches. It also comes with all the same features as its smaller siblings including a 120-Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and an S-Pen. Like the S9+, it’s a great tablet to work on. (You can also put some of the money you save on it toward the pricey keyboard cover.) However, it’s worth noting that it strangely doesn’t support 5G connectivity. The 512-GB model is also on sale for $1,200 ($119 off) at Samsung.

Smartwatch and Eardbud Deals

Galaxy Watch5

Before the Galaxy Watch6, the Galaxy Watch5 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) was our top pick for Android users. We still think it’s a great buy, but only if you can find it for less than what the new models cost. It tracks a variety of health and fitness metrics including heart rate, SpO2, and sleep with the same accuracy as an Apple Watch. If you own a Samsung phone, you can also use it to take electrocardiogram measurements. If you have bigger wrists, you’ll want to opt for the 44-mm version, which is also on sale for $190 ($120 off).

These buds (9/10, WIRED Recommends) have excellent noise cancellation, crisp sound thanks to the great dual dynamic drivers, and a comfortable fit. You’ll also get up to five hours of listening time with active noise canceling turned on—an hour more than the AirPods Pro. With the charging case, you’ll get 23 hours. The Buds2 Pro has dipped this low before, but we still think it’s a great deal.

Cordless Stick Vacuum and TV Deals

Bespoke Jet AI Cordless Stick Vacuum

One of our biggest gripes with Samsung’s smart cordless stick vacuum (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is that it’s too pricey for its build quality. But we do recommend buying it when it’s on sale. It comes equipped with an aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-use docking station, an automatic self-emptying dustbin, and a ton of accessories.

The QN90B (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is expensive for its size, but this is an excellent deal. It’s a great TV for those who don’t want to drop too much money or are looking for a smaller TV for their guest room or bedroom. Since it’s super bright and has great contrast, it’s ideal for rooms that get lots of natural light. You can also rest assured that it’s easy to assemble and comes equipped with a variety of apps.

We haven’t officially reviewed Samsung’s Frame TV, but I’ve owned one for about a year now and absolutely love it. The screen gets bright, and the colors look super crisp. I specifically love that it’s matte—so there’s no glare when the sunlight comes through my apartment. When it’s not in use, it doubles as artwork on my wall. If you don’t mind shopping at Amazon, it’s been hovering at around $800 for a few months now.
