Home Theater Deals

Roku Streaming Stick 4K

This streaming stick from Roku has consistently been one of our favorites, and now it’s cheaper than usual. It comes with the Roku Voice Remote, so you can find your shows without having to use the tedious onscreen keyboard, and the newest version (released in 2021) supports Dolby Vision HDR.

We called the LG C1 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) a game-changing TV, thanks to its top-tier contrast, 120Hz refresh rate at 4K, and minimal input lag, all of which make it excellent both for cinema and gaming. Typically we see this set for around $900 at Amazon, but today it’s down to an all-time low.

Sony makes some of the best-looking OLED TVs on the market, and this display is a great one. At 48 inches, it’s not one of the biggest around, but it’s still good for medium-size living spaces. Its center stand makes it relatively easy to place; it supports both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision types of HDR; and it has a 120-Hz refresh rate that’s handy for gamers.

We’re big fans of TCL’s 5- and 6-Series TVs around here. While the 4-Series used to be a little too underpowered to earn our recommendations, recent models have started to inherit the specs we liked from previous generations. This 43-inch model is an excellent budget model if you need a smaller TV for, say, a guest room.

Home and Kitchen Deals

KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus

The KitchenAid Pro 5 Stand Mixer needs no introduction. Nevertheless, this is one of the most versatile tools you can have in your kitchen. Its price tends to be pretty sticky, so when we see it drop this much, we take notice.

Dyson V11

The Dyson V11 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) exists in an odd spot. While WIRED reviewer Adrienne So called it a “dream vac,” it’s been discontinued in favor of newer options like the V15. That makes it somewhat rare to find this vac on sale, and normally the V11 and V15 are close enough in price that you may as well pay a little extra to get the V15. But at this discount, the older model might be worth it.

The Nest Doorbell was very nearly our top pick for video doorbell, but it dropped to runner-up due its price. With this deal, though, that’s no longer an issue. This model has an easy-to-use mount and can get up to a month’s use off a single charge.

This third-generation Nest Learning Thermostat is a slightly older model, but it has held up surprisingly well, and we like it. It lets you control the heat and A/C from your phone and easily set schedules (which it can try to learn based on how you use it). It even reminds you when to change your filters.

Smartphone & Wearable Deals

Google Pixel 6 Pro

Google’s latest high-end flagship, the Pixel 6 Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends) has one of the best cameras in a phone we’ve seen—including the impressive and welcome Real Tone feature that takes better pictures of people with darker skin. It’s been my daily driver since it came out and now it’s even more worthwhile than usual.

The original Garmin Instinct has been surpassed by some newer models, but at a discount it’s still a solid buy if you’re looking for a GPS-enabled smartwatch that’s packed with an array of sensors, mapping capabilities, and a rugged casing.

Headphone & Camera Deals

Beats Studio3

The Studio3 wireless headphones by (Apple-owned) Beats (8/10, WIRED Recommends) have endured as an iconic headset for a few years now, and for good reason. They have excellent noise canceling, solid wireless range, and at least 20 hours of battery life per charge.

We haven’t tested Sony’s WH-XB910N, but their more expensive cousin, the WH-1000XM4 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) earned our pick for best wireless headphones. If you’d rather save some money while still getting some of the benefits of Sony’s headset design, these might fit your bill.

The Alpha a7 IV (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is our top camera pick for most people. The Alpha a7 III may be a generation behind that pick, but it still packs most of the same punch (as long as you don’t need the upgraded autofocus system), and it’s significantly cheaper than the a7 IV.
