Hybrid vs. Foam Mattresses
Most mattresses that you order online are made of various densities of memory foam, and they arrive at your door vacuum sealed, rolled up in a box. Some are only made of three to five layers of memory foam, but our favorite models are usually “hybrid” mattresses. Hybrids also have hundreds of individually wrapped springs sandwiched between their layers of foam. This gives them some of the better qualities of traditional box-spring mattresses and the newer memory foam models. They tend to be more supportive, and the coils help with airflow, so they tend to sleep cooler at night.
