The 20 Best Amazon Prime Day (2020) Deals for $50 or Less

  • Instant Pot 6 Qt in Vintage Floral for $49 ($50 off) at Walmart: This InstantPot is inspired by vintage floral wallpaper. It won’t suit everyone’s aesthetic, but it’s a great deal for an all-in-one electric pressure cooker. It just sold out, but I’m holding onto hope that it comes back in stock.

  • FinalStraw Collapsible Reusable Metal Straw for $16 ($4 off): You can now enjoy drinks with a straw wherever you are, without adding to the plastic pollution. This set comes with a cleaning brush and small case, so you can keep it clean in your bag.

  • Canon Pixma MG3620 Printer/Copier/Scanner for $50 ($30 off) at Target: You need a printer. You just don’t know it. Life is way easier when you can print your own shipping labels and legal forms, but there’s no point to spending a bundle on a home printer. The MG3620 isn’t exactly small, but it’ll copy, scan, and print in color and black-and-white.

  • Disposable Face Masks for $8 ($22 off): In our face mask roundup, we confess that many of us are still using disposable masks. They’re often the lightest, and most affordable, option available.

  • 6-Month Kindle Unlimited Membership for $30 ($30 off) or 3 Months Free: Kindle Unlimited gives you access to millions of ebooks on demand. It’s typically $10 per month (which is the rate it will renew at after your membership runs out), but you can get the first six months for half that on Prime Day. If you’re really not sure, you can also get three months for free, so it’s a good opportunity to try out the service. Don’t have a reader? The Kindle is down to $60 ($30 off) at the moment, which is as low as it ever goes.

  • Stasher Reusable Storage Bag Bundle for $38 ($12 off): The WIRED staff loves these reusable silicone bags. They last forever, are better for the environment than single-use plastic bags, and are dishwasher-friendly.

  • Superjare Dual Monitor Stand Riser for $26 ($7 off)—Click the Coupon Button: I’ve been using this monitor and laptop stand for several months and love how it looks on my desk. It keeps everything organized and in a comfortable place for working. It’s about 12 percent off, but if you clip the on-page coupon, you’ll get an extra 10 percent off at checkout for the $26 price.

  • NuDerma High Frequency Skin Therapy Wand for $35 ($12 off): You’ll have to click the on-page coupon to activate this 25 percent off sale. I haven’t tried this particular high-frequency wand (I’ve used the Skin Gym one that’s about twice the price), but it comes with a bunch of useful attachments at an already good price before the deal. High-frequency wands emit argon gas, which could help kill acne and stimulate circulation. It helped to decrease the life of some of my most painful cystic pimples.

  • LifeStraw Personal Water Filter for $10 ($8 off): If you hike, camp, or have a disaster kit at the ready, a LifeStraw is a good thing to include. It filters contaminated water without batteries or other accessories.

  • Colgate Hum Electric Toothbrush for $60 ($25 off): OK, yes, this is more than $50, but I’m including it because I loved the Hum toothbrush so much. Even though the rechargeable version is typically $15 less on the Colgate site, this price is still cheaper, so it’s a welcome deal. The 30 percent discount is applied at checkout.

  • GhostBed Memory Foam Pillow for $40 ($45 off): I’m extremely picky with pillows, but I couldn’t stop thinking about how comfortable I was after sleeping on this one at a friend’s house. I bought it the moment I saw this sale. It’s denser than most pillows, so it’s not for everyone.

  • National Geographic Mega Fossil Kit for $20 ($5 off): Assorted STEM toys and building sets are also 30 percent off. It’s a good time to stock up on Legos for the holidays, but we’re also intrigued by the affordable National Geographic STEM sets. This small fossil kit is a great gift for the young dinosaur lover in your life.

  • Coleman LED Lantern for $32 ($18 off): Coleman is our brand of choice for sturdy, reliable, entry-level camping equipment. This affordable lantern is weather-resistant and has a rotating dial to adjust the level of brightness.

  • Keurig K-Mini for $45 ($35 off): Keurig pods may be a little wasteful, but you can’t deny they’re convenient—especially now that we’re all at home, applying a steady, slow drip of caffeine into our veins. This one has a remarkably small countertop footprint and a very good discount.

  • Mandalorian Echo Dot for $39 ($36 off): Given our collective obsession with Baby Yoda, I’m sure a creepy, faceless Baby Yoda Echo Dot must have made some sense? Anyway, it’s on sale now.
