These Must-Have MagSafe Accessories Are on Sale Right Now

If you have an iPhone 12 or iPhone 13, you should seriously be utilizing Apple’s MagSafe accessory system. Good news! Three of our favorite MagSafe accessories are on sale for Amazon Prime Day: Anker’s MagGo 633 for $96 ($24 off), MagGo 637 for $70 ($30 off), and MagGo 623 for $60 ($20 off). These three are all wireless chargers of some kind, but they have a few additional tricks up their sleeves (details below). For the former two, these are the lowest prices we have ever tracked.

We strongly recommend using a MagSafe iPhone case because it won’t weaken the MagSafe system—MagSafe cases have their own ring of magnets on the inside. And whaddaya know? Apple’s official MagSafe cases are all on sale for $39 ($10 off).

Why We Like Anker’s MagGo Accessories

All three of these Anker MagGo products will let you magnetically dock your iPhone on the front, thereby wirelessly recharging your phone. They’re all attractive and well-built. I’ve been using each of them for almost a year with no problems whatsoever. However, each have unique features.

With the iPhone 12 series, Apple introduced the MagSafe accessory system. There’s a ring of magnets embedded in the back of all iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 devices, and it lets you attach various magnetic accessories to the back of the device, like portable battery packs and even PopSockets. It also makes wireless charging less finicky because you don’t have to precisely place your phone on a pad or stand—magnets ensure perfect alignment. Cue Jesse Pinkman magnets GIF.

The MagGo 637 is my personal favorite and has been on my desk for the longest time. This little orb has three AC outlets on the back, two USB-A ports, and two USB-C, one of which is capable of outputting 65 watts of power (enough to recharge a MacBook). It’s a nice dock system that lets you get rid of the power strip by your feet and organize cables a bit better.

The MagGo 633 is my second favorite. First, it can wirelessly recharge two devices. Your iPhone docks at the rectangular base, but you can recharge your wireless earbuds case (or another device) at the circular base. But here’s the thing: The MagSafe base actually doubles as a 5,000-mAh portable power bank. When you’re ready to leave home, just slide the power bank out and toss it in your pocket—you get a lightweight battery to top up your iPhone, no cables required. When you’re back home, slide the power pack down into the dock. It’ll automatically start recharging, so you never have to remember to recharge your power bank. It can also recharge the battery and your iPhone at the same time. It’s an ingenious system.

Finally, there’s the MagGo 623. This one is also a dual wireless charger. You can magnetically attach your iPhone to the circular base to recharge it. This puck-like top sits on a hinge so you can adjust the angle. Push it all the way out and the circular top of the cylinder can also recharge a pair of wireless earbuds. As much as it looks like a portable battery, it isn’t, and it will need to be plugged into a wall outlet via the USB-C port to juice up your devices.
