12 Great Deals From Target’s Early Holiday Sale

November is when it’s time to bundle up, make plans for whichever holidays you and yours celebrate, and most importantly, make sure any gift shopping you need to do gets done before it’s too late. With shipping delays and shortages, getting in ahead of the crunch is your best bet. Target is having an early holiday sale, and a ton of our favorite gadgets are discounted, from gaming gadgets and home gear to headphones. A few of these deals ended this past weekend, but some of the best are still kicking around.

Updated November 17: We’ve added wireless headphone deals and removed some items no longer available.

Philips One electric toothbrush.

This is our favorite cheap electric toothbrush, and this deal on the rechargeable version makes it an even sweeter proposition. It’s thin and feels very much like a normal toothbrush, offers gentle vibrations, and comes with a small case for traveling. There’s a brush head subscription for $5 per quarter so you can swap it out every three months (you can update the frequency or pause the subscription at any time).

This is the easiest way to enter the smart home world. Plug this smart speaker in and you can ask Google Assistant anything you’d typically search on Google (and the results are often pretty satisfactory). Once you start hooking up more smart devices to your home, like smart plugs and bulbs, you can control them with your voice by talking to the Nest Mini. There’s a physical mute switch for some peace of mind.

Plug this streaming stick into the back of your TV and you’ll get a whole new interface with almost every streaming service out there. This is the voice remote, so you can push the mic button and ask the Roku to navigate to your favorite show instead of hunting for it on a menu. It supports 4K HDR TVs. You can read more in our guide to buying Roku devices.

Gaming Deals

Razer Viper

Razer’s Viper series is ambidextrous, which is awesome for left-handed gamers, but it fits perfectly in the hand for righties too. The standard Viper is smaller in profile than some of Razer’s other mice, so it’s great for people with small hands. The switches are nice and tactile, and RGB lighting is always fun.

There are too many great finds here to choose from, but Target’s sale features quite a few new releases, fan favorites, and indie games, plus a giant list of activity books, novels, and board games for all ages. It’s a great way to check out things you might not otherwise have picked up—or to pick up a few extra gifts for loved ones.

Phone, Headphone, and TV Deals

Powerbeats Pro Wireless EarbudsPhotograph: Beats

These earphones are super secure, thanks to an extra little grippy arm that curls around your ears, and they have some incredible battery life—during testing we got around nine hours of use out of a single charge. On top of all that, they have the killer sound quality we’ve come to expect from Beats headphones. Just know that Beats has introduced a newer model for only $50 more.

Nothing quite beats a pair of over-ear headphones for overall noise canceling, and the Bose QuietComfort headphones are a good example of that. They drown out sound well enough that wearing them can feel like you’re all alone in an empty room—even if you have a bunch of noisy kids running around. This deal is also available at Amazon

A bit more basic than the fully kitted-out Studio3, the Solo3 headphones still pack rich, velvety sound in a super comfy (and easy on the wallet) package. There’s no active noise canceling here, but they’re a great pair of everyday wear headphones.

Bose has a well-earned reputation for audio quality, and these wireless earbuds are some of our favorites. The QuietComfort noise-canceling earbuds offer active noise canceling and rock-solid battery life. Plus they’re comfy. This deal is also available at Amazon.

Sonix’s cases are some of the prettiest around, and if you like the “Purple Rain” aesthetic, this is a good price on a MagSafe case. That means there are magnets embedded in the case, allowing you to securely attach MagSafe accessories to the back of the iPhone 13, like a wireless charger or a wallet. The deal is also available for the iPhone 13 Pro

LG 55-inch NanoCell 4K UHD Smart TV

The holiday season is definitely the time to look into upgrading your TV. Prices just get lower and lower as we approach Black Friday and Cyber Monday. LG’s 55-inch NanoCell TV features 4K, HDR, and LG’s super-slick smart TV UI with motion-tracking remote.

TCL is behind some of the most affordable and well-made TVs on the market. Its 6-Series is our top pick for most people. We recommend the 5-Series for anyone on a budget, but this 4-Series is tantalizingly affordable. Its HDR performance isn’t quite as good as the 6-Series, but you’re shaving off hundreds of dollars. There are tons of other great TVs on sale, and we’ve rounded them up here.
