With shipping delays and shortages, getting in early is your best bet. Target’s having an early holiday sale, and a ton of our favorite gadgets are discounted, from gaming gear and kitchen gadgets to headphones. Just know that many of these deals end on Saturday, so snag the gear you need while they’re still available.

Razer’s Viper series is ambidextrous, which is awesome for left-handed gamers, but it fits perfectly in the hand for righties too. The standard Viper is smaller in profile than some of Razer’s other mice, so it’s great for people with small hands. The switches are nice and tactile, and RGB lighting is always fun.

Upgrading your gaming monitor is one of the best ways to spice up your gaming setup—especially since graphics cards are so hard to come by lately. LG’s 24-inch UltraGear features a 1080p resolution and FreeSync for seamless compatibility with AMD graphics cards. That means ultra-smooth gameplay as this monitor has a 144-Hz refresh rate. 

Slightly larger, LG’s 27-inch UltraGear steps up its game with more than its size. It features a 240-Hz refresh rate, so if your gaming PC is powerful enough, you can get some absolutely liquid-smooth gameplay out of this monitor. This one is optimized for G-Sync, Nvidia’s answer to AMD’s FreeSync, so it’s best paired with an Nvidia graphics card. 

Home and Kitchen Deals

Having a cordless stick vacuum around is a game changer for everyday chores, and this is one of the best prices we’ve tracked on this classic. There’s something so easy-breezy about just picking up a lightweight and cordless vacuum and doing a quick little cleanup of a carpet or a room. No need to wheel out a big wired vacuum. Nothing lasts like a KitchenAid. This one is the professional model, so it features a little arm that moves up and down to get the bowl in position. Other than that, it’s compatible with the standard array of KitchenAid accessories and boasts a legendary build quality and longevity. 

A pressure cooker or rice cooker is a life-changing addition to the kitchen and the Instant Pot is both and then some. This is the 6-quart version, a great size for two to three people (or one person with plenty of leftovers). It’s a worthy investment even if you only ever use it to cook rice. 

Having a robot vacuum is great for keeping your floors nice and clean—especially if you have pets. You will still need a standard vacuum for deep or spot cleaning, but robot vacs are handy to have around, and iRobot makes some of our faves. This is a brand new security camera Google introduced a few months ago. It’s battery-operated and lasts a little more than a month in our testing, but you can quickly top it up with the included charger. Install the mounting plate, and the camera magnetically sticks to it, so you don’t need to unscrew anything when it needs a recharge. We like its 1080p video quality with HDR and night vision, and the motion detector is very accurate. You need a Google account and the Google Home app for it to work. 

Smart displays can make useful additions to any smart home. They let you control other smart home gadgets via voice or touch. Google’s Nest Hub is powered by Google Assistant, and you can pretty much ask it anything you’d type into Google Search and (usually) get a pretty good answer. It’s compact enough for the bedroom or kitchen, and there’s no camera to snoop on you. Best of all, you can connect it to a Google Photos account and have it act as a digital picture frame most of the time. 

Don’t need a screen? The Nest Audio (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a pretty great smart speaker for anyone using Google Assistant. Its sound quality is excellent, and you can pair two for excellent stereo performance. You can ask it anything, set timers, or just play music.  

Instant cameras are in the middle of a huge comeback, and for good reason! They’re fun to have around, especially at parties and celebrations. Headphone and TV Deals

These are the best headphones for most people (9/10, WIRED Recommends). They’re lightweight, the ear pads are plush and seal in your music, and they feature best-in-class active noise cancellation. TCL makes some of the most affordable and well-made TVs on the market. Its 6-Series is our top pick for most people. We recommend the 5-Series for anyone on a budget, but this 4-Series is tantalizingly affordable. Its HDR performance isn’t quite as good as the 6-Series, but you’re shaving off hundreds of dollars. These earphones are super secure thanks to an extra little grippy arm that curls around your ears, and they have some incredible battery life—during testing we got around 9-hours of use out of a single charge. On top of all that, they have the killer sound quality we’ve come to expect from Beats headphones. Just know that Beats has introduced a newer model for just $50 more.

Jabra’s Elite Active 85t Wireless Earbuds are some of our favorites, and the 75t are the company’s older and cheaper model. They feature a similar body style that fits securely in your ears and boast much of the same noise cancelation technology found in the more expensive 85t. The in-ear design makes the fit a bit more snug in your ears.
