The 18 Best Weekend Deals on Headphones, Games, and Sex Toys

Labor Day has come and gone, leaving us in that weird period right before fall. It’s not quite summer and it’s not quite autumn; it’s hot and cold; there are green leaves and a few red ones. We’re also in between major deal holidays—post–back-to-school and pre-Black Friday. But that doesn’t mean there’s any shortage of good deals on tech products. We’ve brought in a fresh crop of discounts just in time for all the upcoming harvest festivals.

Headphone Deals

The 1More ColorBuds (8/10, WIRED Recommends) are excellent earbuds for under $100, and they’re an even sweeter deal now. They’re IPX5 sweat-resistant, sound great, and are very comfortable to wear. This recently updated model has four built-in mics for better call quality. You also get six hours of juice, and the case holds 16 more hours of power.

This sale has been going on for a while, but it’s still worth picking these up if you have fit issues with earbuds. The UE Fits are on our list of the Best Wireless Earbuds for Working Out for good reason. They’re comfy, the battery life is superb, and most important, they sound great. They boast a custom fitting process to make sure the ear tips fit perfectly, so if, like me, you have trouble getting earbuds to stay put, try these.

Previous price drops on this gaming headset have always been short-lived, but the Arctis Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends) has been at this price for nearly a month now. This is our favorite corded gaming headset. It’s one of the most comfortable pairs to wear for hours on end, it has a retractable mic and great sound quality with the GameDAC, and it works on pretty much every gaming system.

These headphones are pretty old—they launched in 2017—but they’re still a great pair and now have a great price. With killer style and killer sound, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless feature active noise canceling and can last 22 hours with active noise canceling (40 if you turn it off).

Game Deals

Resident Evil Village

We’re only a month away from October so it’s only appropriate to stock up on spooky, scary games for All Hallows’ Eve. Resident Evil Village definitely fits that bill. Ever wanted to be pursued by scary vampire-zombie-werewolves in a remote Eastern European village? Well, buddy, you’re in luck. GameStop defaults to the pre-owned version, which is $45, so make sure to click New if that’s what you prefer. If you have the Xbox Series X, it’s $45 new ($15 off).

Board games are a great way to pass the time as rain and temperatures both start to fall. Betrayal at House on the Hill is a horror-mystery game for three to six players; you try to explore a haunted house without getting devoured or mauled or worse. It comes with 50 different scenarios, all of which change the way the game plays out.

One of our favorite games this generation, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla puts you in the furry boots of Norse raider Eivor Wolf-Kissed as you explore the lush and verdant countryside of England during the Dark Ages. Not included in this deal are expansions that add whole new landmasses as well, including Francia and Ireland. It’s available on Xbox for $30.

Nintendo deals are rare, and this is a brand-new remake of a Zelda game from the Wii generation. The graphics have improved, and quality-of-life upgrades make the game much more enjoyable to play on the Switch. You’ll need to add the game to your cart to see the discounted price.

Coway Airmega

With wildfire season on the West Coast and the pandemic seemingly never-ending, it’s important to safeguard the quality of air in your home. With its HEPA filter and coverage for 361 square feet, Airmega’s Air Purifier is perfect for keeping the air in a single room nice and clean. You can find more options in our Best Air Purifiers guide.

The HomePod Mini is a divisive little device. Not everyone loves it, but I’m a big fan. It produces surprisingly robust sound, and Siri is just capable enough to be a good kitchen assistant but not so creepy capable that she’ll start making things weird like Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa. Alexa is too smart. I don’t trust her. Give me sweet thembo Siri any day.

Every house needs more power strips, and this one is better than most. Not only does it expand the capacity of one of your outlets (like any power strip), but it features smart connectivity so you can control it from afar. It’s great for integrating less-than-smart devices into a smart home. Read our Best Smart Plugs guide for other options.

Camping is fun until you realize you don’t have any pans or plates or cups. The Stanley Adventure set has you covered with lightweight cookware (and eating ware) that’ll keep you from having to subsist on strange berries.

You need to wear face masks indoors even if you’re vaccinated to slow the spread of the Covid-19. We like this three-pack from Timbuk2. They come in two sizes, are made from jersey cotton, and have a pocket for holding a filter. You tie these around your head, so they’re a great option if you need to wear a mask all day every day. Our Best Face Masks guide has other options.

The school year might have started for a lot of kids, but there’s never a bad time to buy more Crayolas. There are 20 markers in this pack.

Self-Care Deals

Lelo Sila

Lelo’s Sila toy is one of our favorites in our Best Sex Toys guide. It’s a user-friendly suction toy, and in this bundle it’s paired with Lelo’s Gigi 2, which is great for internal stimulation. Put together, they’re a very dynamic duo.

This bundle pairs the aforementioned Sila suction toy with a menstrual cup designed for use during sexual activity. It’s great for getting frisky when you or your partner is menstruating.

Lelo’s Sona suction toy is a classic. Even at full price it’s an affordable, approachable toy for anyone who is curious about suction toys but maybe a bit put off by their typically high prices.

Ever need to massage a knot out of your back without outside assistance? That’s where this bad boy comes in handy. It looks like a weird, curvy plastic cane, and that’s exactly what it is, but those curves serve a purpose. With the right angle and application, you can work soreness and tension out of those neck and back muscles.
