Walmart ‘Deals for Days’ 2021: The 20 Best Deals (Updated)

Amazon’s first Prime Day in 2015 was greeted with plenty of skepticism from other retailers. Outlandish success has a way of changing people’s tunes though, and for Prime Day 2021 nearly every major store has a rival sale going on alongside Amazon. Walmart is one of those stores. Its “Deals for Days” sale lasts from June 20 to 23. To help you save on the stuff you need, we’ve gathered up the best deals on offer at Walmart.

Note: We regularly update articles and strike through items that sell out or rise in price as of publishing, and we mark discounts based on recent product pricing or average price, not MSRP. Be sure to check discounts for yourself. Our picks come from research and our extensive experience reviewing products.

Updated Tuesday: We’ve updated the status of deals throughout.

TV and Speaker Deals

Roku Express 4K+

The Express 4K Plus allows you to play high-resolution 4K content in HDR10 (if your TV supports it). There are better and more capable Rokus you can buy for modern 4K TVs (see our guide to picking the right Roku for your TV), but get this one if you want to spend as little as possible.

The 65-inch LG OLED offers great HD picture quality and sound quality. The 55-inch version is also on sale for $1,497 ($500 off).

Google Nest Mini

If you’re not a fan of screens, check out this little smart speaker from Google. Google Assistant is my favorite smart assistant for the kitchen, because it’s so good at conversions. Don’t believe me? Ask it what 3 cups is in liters. It’s the best basic Google Assistant speaker around.

If you’re looking for a good picture at a huge size this Sony is a good deal. Android TV offers plenty of apps and of course voice control through Google Assistant.

Home and Fitness Deals

Roborock S4 Max

Photograph: Roborock

This is a good price on a solid offering from one of our favorite robot vacuum manufacturers. Each of the S series robot vacuums offers great battery life and large bin sizes, but the S4 Max strikes the best balance between performance and price. That’s why it’s our top robot vacuum pick for most people. Amazon has it for the same price.

If you have hissing or barking fur balls around the house, this is the robot vacuum to get. It’s got the smarts to avoid errant piles of Legos, and 2.5 kPa of suction power to pull dog hair out of low-pile carpet. Amazon matched this deal.

The Charge 4 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is our favorite fitness tracker for most people. It has accurate sensors, built-in GPS, and some of the best sleep-tracking tech available. The only downside is that to get some of the best stuff, you’ll need a subscription to Fitbit Premium. This deal has been running for a couple weeks now and is also available at Amazon.

Shark IQ Robot Vacuum

This Shark vacuum (7/10, WIRED Review) is an affordable way to dive into the world of robot vacs. It has a self-emptying bin, so the vacuum returns to the base to empty itself when it’s full. We did find it has trouble with the map system, but it includes magnetic boundary strips that should stop it from tumbling down any steps in your house. Earlier today it was $30 more.

Coway Airmega 200M

This is a great deal on our favorite air purifier. It’s simple, compact, and attractive. It also saves energy with an included air-quality monitor that turns the machine off when no pollution is detected.

This discount isn’t all that great (and definitely isn’t as good as Walmart displays it to be), but its a a good choice if you’re just starting out. It has 60 built-in stitches and offers enough options without being overwhelming for beginners.

Instant Pot

Are you the one person left who doesn’t have an Instant Pot? Get one already. A pressure cooker will change your kitchen game for the better. This is a good price on a size that’s good for a family of four. There are a ton of models. This one has all the common features and a lid that stays attached via a hinge.

If you don’t need the capacity of the 6-quart model, this one offers most of the same functionality in a smaller, more counter-friendly form factor. The larger Duo Plus is also on sale over at Amazon.

No room outdoors for a grill? This George Foreman grill can fill the gap, giving you a way to grill indoors. No it won’t have the charcoal flavor of cooking over a fire, but it’s design means your food is ready in about half the time (because it can cook from the top as well as the bottom).

Apple Deals

Photograph: Apple

The Apple Watch Series 6 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) added a blood-oxygen-measuring tool and slightly increased the display size. We think this is still the best fitness tracker for the iPhone and the best Apple Watch. This deal has been running for a couple of weeks now and is also available at Amazon.

For over three years we’ve recommended the Watch Series 3 as the best bare-bones Apple Watch if you want a basic fitness tracker that will work well with an iPhone. It is older and lacks features you’ll find on newer version (like electrocardiograms or fall detection). But on sale it remains one of the best basic fitness trackers around.

If you own an iPhone, already buy movies and shows from Apple’s library (or subscribe to Apple TV Plus), an Apple TV is perfect. It has every major streaming app, including Amazon Video, and the interface is slicker and easier to use than a Roku. The new 2021 Apple TV has a new remote and updated internals. It costs $169 ($10 off) right now.

Beats Solo Pro

These on-ear noise-canceling headphones from Apple-owned Beats (9/10, WIRED Recommends) are easily some of the best you can buy, and they’re a deal at this price.

Laptop and Gaming Deals

Lenovo Chromebook Duet

Photograph: Lenovo

The Lenovo Duet is one of my favorite Chromebooks. I don’t recommend it as your main machine, but if you want a tablet that can double as a work machine, this one fits the bill. This deal is for the model with a 64-gigabyte SSD. The discount isn’t huge, but I’ve noticed that the Duet seems to be getting more difficult to find, so if you’ve been eyeing one, now might be the time to buy.

Acer Swift 3

Photograph: Acer

The Acer Swift 3 is our favorite budget laptop and the best choice for most people. This deal is for the 4K model, which is normally too expensive to call a budget laptop. Otherwise, this has the same specs as the HD screen model but costs less: Intel Core i5 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM, and a 256-gigabyte SSD. The only downside is that the 4K screen does reduce battery life by a few hours, but it still gets about 11 hours.

We are huge fans of the 2019 Nintendo Switch remake of this Zelda Game Boy classic. The same price is available via Amazon.

Super Mario Odyssey was Nintendo’s first official Super Mario game for the Switch and one of the best games for the system. It features possibly the strangest twist in a game franchise that’s never been short on strangeness: Anything that is made to wear Mario’s cap becomes Mario. It’s worth owning if you don’t already have it. The deal is matched at Amazon.

This 14-inch Asus Vivobook is a solid mid-range laptop at a very reasonable price. It features a Ryzen 5 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM, a 256-gigabyte SSD, and a Full HD 14-inch IPS display. It also retains a USB-A port and audio jack—things that are increasingly difficult to come by. If you need help making sense of all the specs, read through our guide to buying the right laptop.
