Faith No More Launch Collectible Merch to Benefit Their Road Crew

Faith No More have launched a special line of merchandise to benefit the band’s road crew. The products arrive as the returning rock group was forced to postpone its summer 2020 European touring plans due to health concerns surrounding the coronavirus. The dates have since been rescheduled for next summer.

Until then, however, Faith No More fans can get their hands on an exclusive T-shirt design from the band (“Wash Those Hands”). Additional items in the crew fundraiser include a Faith No More face mask as well as signed vinyl records, posters and drum heads. All proceeds from the sales go to help the group’s eight-person team of behind-the-scenes workers. Check out the merch on offer here.

Faith No More bassist Bill Gould said, “There’s been plenty of attention about the collapse of the concert industry, how it has been impacting musicians, artists, agents. But very little coverage has focused on the impact it’s made on a crucial element of live music and touring: the crew. Without a band’s crew, the show does not go on. Yet, in light of the recent postponements, they have been left with few options to support themselves or their families.”

He continued, “Faith No More is more than the five musicians you see onstage. It is a larger family, an ecosystem that includes backline, a production manager, lighting, sound, and tour management. We had an entire summer of touring booked — and now, as a result of this pandemic, all of our crew have been put into a seriously vulnerable financial position. We have been working with these folks for years, and we feel very close to them.”

See Faith No More’s rescheduled 2021 European itinerary below. The Mike Patton-fronted act also had to reschedule its planned stadium shows with System of a Down and Korn. Those have been pushed to next year, as well.
